About the Artist, Shyrle De Haven

A resident of Redding, Shyrle De Haven is known as a gifted artist, writer, and lyric composer. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California at Davis.

De Haven's paintings have been displayed at the State Capitol in Sacramento, California in September of 2004, and are currently being displayed in Redding, California.

Shyrle is currently working on a series of childrens books fully illustrated with a strong theme and wonderful characters.


Her honors include:

• Award-winning mural at Cal Expo
• Inclusion in the 1982 & 1984 Editions of Who's Who in California
• Designed The President's Own United States Marine Band Poster
• Cache Creek Regional Park Signs
